The decisions section contains selected decisions of the Office of the Information Commissioner. The decisions have been selected for their "precedential" value, or because of the guidance they provide to FOI users and public bodies.

Your attention is drawn to the fact that the FOI Act 2003 amended the FOI Act 1997. Decisions which pre-date the amendment act should be checked carefully for relevance.
