Section 25 Ministerial Certificates

In accordance with Section 25(11) of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 I wish to notify the Minister for Justice, Equality & Law Reform, Mr. John O'Donoghue, T.D. issued one Ministerial Certificate for the year ending 31/12/2001.

Details of these Certificates are as follows:

(1) Provisions of the Act by reference to which records requested are exempt records:
Section 23(1)(a)(i) the prevention, detection or investigation of offences, the apprehension or prosecution of offenders or the effectiveness of lawful methods, systems, plans, or procedures employed for the matters aforesaid
Section 23(1)(a)(ii) the enforcement of, compliance with or administration of any law.
Section 23(1)(a)(iii) lawful methods, systems, plans or procedures for wnsuring the safety of the public and the safety of persons and property.
Section 24(1)(a) Security of the State.
