entitled
Freedom of Information Act, 1997 (Local Authority and Health Board) (Commencement) Order, 1998

I, Charlie McCreevy, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(3) of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 (No. 13 of 1997) hereby with the consent -
(a) in so far as the following Order relates to subparagraph (3) of paragraph 1 of the First Schedule to that Act, of the Minister for the Environment and Local Government, and
(b) in so far as it relates to subparagraph (4) of that paragraph, of the Minister for Health and Children,
order as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 (Local Authority and Health Board) (Commencement) Order, 1998.
2. The 21st day of October, 1998 is hereby appointed to be the day on which subparagraphs (3) and (4) of paragraph 1 of the First Schedule to the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 (No.13 of 1997), shall come into operation.
The Minister for the Environment and Local Government hereby consents to the making of the foregoing Order in so far as it relates to subparagraph (3) of paragraph 1 of the First Schedule to the Freedom of Information Act, 1997.
