Complaints under the Disability Act

Section 38 of the Disability Act provides that

"A person may by himself or through a person referred to in section 9(2) make a complaint in writing to the head of a public body in relation to the failure of the body to comply with sections 25, 26, 27, 28 or 29 of this Act."

Any such complaints relating to the Office of the Information Commissioner will be dealt with by the Personnel Officer / Inquiry Officers of the Office of the Ombudsman.  A full description of the procedures involved may be accessed here.
