Mr. Barney Sheedy V The Information Commissioner and the Minister for Education and Science and the Irish Times Limited (First and Second Notice Parties)
A judgement on this case was given by the High Court on an appeal against the Commissioner's decision in Case Number 000238. The judgement, given by Mr. Justice Gilligan, on 20th May 2004, up-held the Commissioner's decision.
However, the case was subsequently appealed to the Supreme Court by the Principal of Scoil Choilm.
The Supreme Court judgement was handed down on 30th May 2005 and found against the Commissioner.
